Make your way across 4 Wellington venues and play 2 holes (games) at each venue, for a total of 8. Target scores will be displayed on each game, once you hit that score, you are finished with that machine, and you can move on to the next one. There will be a scorer at each venue recording scores. 5 balls and a maximum of 6 strokes per game. Machines will be coin drop, finals on Monday.
16 rounds of 4 Player Group Matchplay, 1 game per round, with the first 8 rounds at YOPS, followed by 8 rounds at Lanes, and an hour lunch break in between.
Top 24 qualifiers from Saturday's main event will play a Best-Of-3 Group Knockout. The winner will receive the perpetual KCSB laser-etched crystal trophy.
For anyone who didn't qualify in the top 24 players of the main event, and wants to cram more pinball in! Each game has a target score - finish your 3 balls with a score as close to the target score as possible. This score can be above or below the target. 6 games to qualify on (possibly more!) and trophy prizes.
This tournament is to recognise all the great players and operators Wellington has lost over the years, who will be immortalised in trophy form. Tournament starts after both tournaments mentioned above have concluded (approx. 4pm), this will be a 2.5hr Max Matchplay, followed by a top 24, best-of-3 finals. Only games with a DMD are allowed!
Top 16 Finals, Pin-Golf scoring, with harder target scores than qualifying.
4 Player Group Matchplay, top 2 players per game get no strike, bottom 2 players get 1 strike. 3 player game = 3rd place gets a strike. Last player to not have 3 strikes wins!
