SorchaLula

Never happier than in the midst of a dancefloor, SorchaLula brings a slinky sound with hefty sub frequencies and intriguing textures. Drawn to tunes with sensuality, swagger and sinuous percussion, she can shimmy from fierce bass to transcendent beauty. She often crafts multi-genre sets to traverse the musical terrain, and is producing her own tracks. She is frequently handpicked by some of the biggest names in the scene for her strong  selections and intuitive understanding of what the crowd needs.

DJ Coda

DJ Coda is one of the leading techno DJs in New Zealand. He has played with many of the world's best DJs, with a career that has spanned from creating some of the largest warehouse raves in the country, to sets and parties at some of its best clubs.

London born DJ Coda grew up in Wellington and developed quickly as a DJ in the early years of Wellington's rave scene. He co-hosted the infamous Headstrong show on Radio Active and established some of Wellington's most legendary dance parties with the Eden and S-ence brands. He has hosted and supported some of the best DJs in the world including Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alex Paterson (The Orb) and Optimo to name a few.

As well as playing events around New Zealand, he has also maintained a ground roots presence in the local Wellington scene with residencies and sets at notorious venues like Tatou, Studio Nine, Sandwiches, The White Room and Laundry, and recently at 121 Club & Festival, Emergence, Surface and Taniwha's Den. He has a reputation of delivering unique sets, tailored to the crowd, environment and situation, crafting a blend of the most up-front tracks of today with crowd-pleasing classics. With years of experience and a rich dancefloor background, Coda's sets are epic journeys. His tight groove driven tech missions, highlighted by long-haul transitions and expert mixer control, create an ideal soundscape for large format parties.

You can also catch him hosting the landmark electronic music radioshow The Floor (Thurs 7-9pm) on Radio Active.FM.

Mr. Oz

Mr. Oz has been around the block a few times and has the gigs/events under his hat to show for it. It's not often ya get an iconic label manager in the mix, look out for some outstanding music!

DJing since the late 80's, starting out in London on pirate radio Fusion 89.8FM, he's proven that the job spec of a DJ does in fact embrace more than just playing records!

In '91 he joined React Music as Label Manager and oversaw the release of Candi Staton 'You've Got The Love', 'Age of Love', Carl Cox 'F.A.C.T' and the infamous Reactivate compilation series just to name a few...

In '93 he became one of the key organisers of Universe - Tribal Gathering which were the UK's largest dance parties in the 90's. He compiled and mixed the album Universe 'World Techno Tribe' (Dance Chart No. 4) and was resident DJ at their weekly club night Final Frontier at Club Uk and Voyager at Complex Club. Following these epic and seminal events he's been invited to play some of the best and most renowned parties all over the globe...

Not one to blow his own trumpet he's headlined alongside practically anyone who is anyone, that list to put it mildly is quite simply mindblowing.

Since moving to New Zealand in 2001 he has enjoyed weekly residencies at Mercury and Monkey Bar (2003-2006), Jet Bar (2006-2008), Vespa Lounge (2008-2016),

Apartment Bar (2009 - 2015), along with several renowned annual out-of-town events such as Twisted (2005-2012), The Forest (2010-2014), Taniwha's Den (2016-2023), Kandiland, and Funkhutt at Kiwiburn. Further north at Ink Bar, Funkhutt + Inkahoots and Lubble.

For 7 years he held Dirty Laundry, a monthly night of dirty electronic beats at Laundry Bar in Wellington.
